Heart & Home 501(c)3 has outgrown the current Foster Closet trailer and purchased a 1978 Streamline trailer to renovate and convert into a mobile Foster Closet. Our goal is to make this trailer a beautiful mobile boutique-style closet because these kids are worth feeling valued from the moment they step into it.

Our Story

Heart & Home, a nonprofit that serves marginalized and vulnerable children in Orange County, CA. Heart & Home supports families who have welcomed children into their “hearts & homes” through foster care, guardianship or adoption.

There are around 2,000 children in foster care in Orange County. Foster families typically “burn out” and quit within one year or when their first foster child leaves, whichever comes sooner. Heart & Home provides services (meals, laundry, babysitting), resources and hosts events for these families, to help them continue the hard work of caring for marginalized and vulnerable children.
